Jeremy Jessen serves as the Senior Pastor of Lakewood Baptist Church. Since 2015 he has launched an expository pulpit ministry, established a new church constitution, reordered church polity, supervised multiple staff members, and led a capital campaign to raise funds for a new church facility. Previously he served as a pastor in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.
He also serves at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary as a D. Min. Supervisor and Adjunct Professor. Previously he served as an Adjunct Professor at both Moody Bible Institute and Missouri Baptist University.
He received his B.A. in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute, as well as an M.Div., Th.M., and Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His academic research interests are in Christian preaching, historical theology, and practical theology.
Jeremy is married to Jennifer and they live in Louisville, Kentucky with their three children.
